On July 24, 2024, a fire completely destroyed the City of Chelan Recycle Center, home to Paulie the Pulverizer for over three years. As a result, our operation is closed for the foreseeable future while we assess the extent of the damage and work through issues with our insurance carrier. We deeply regret this interruption in the important community service we have been proud to provide. We are grateful for the phenomenal support we have enjoyed from our volunteers, our community and, in particular, our many financial sponsors. Rest assured we are working tirelessly to return glass recycling to the Chelan Valley. Stay tuned for further updates as we learn more and devise a plan for moving forward.
